Designing Your Path to Renewed Health: A Program for Managing Fibromyalgia/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome This 8-week class combines balanced information on the nature of FMS/CFS with experiential exercises and specific guideline that, when followed over time, help to restore the natural self-regulating (homeostatic) mechanisms of the body. The class is organized around the findings that individuals with FMS/CFS are "locked into" chronically hyper-reactive states that maintain the body and mind in a tug-of-war to remain alert and vigilant on the one hand, but chronic energetically depleted and unable to rejuvenate depleted energy reserves.
