The fascial system (connective tissue), often referred to as the "liquid light" of the body, is a lubricating gel-like substance that literally surrounds and connects the entire physical structure of the body, inside and out. Every organ, bone, tissue and nerve cell throughout the body is organized within this protective substance. Normally, this substance allows for a fluid and frictionless information flow between all the of systems of the body, from the extremely sophisticated, finely tuned neural and chemical network at the cellular level to the denser, more structural level of the muscles and bones. MFR works to open and re-hydrate the restricted or blocked areas of the body that disrupt healthy physiological functioning. MFR enables a more coherent flow of information and organization within the entire human network of the body, restoring health and quality of life to the individual. More information on MFR can be found at www.myofascialrelease.com.
