Information: David Alter is a graduate of the University of Health Sciences at the Chicago Medical School and completed his internship in Clinical Psychology through the University of Minnesota Internship Consortium before obtaining his PhD in Clinical Psychology in 1991. His 20 years of overall clinical experience involve the practice of health psychology (mind-body medicine) and neuropsychology (the relationship of brain function to behavior). His professional work focuses on teaching patients how to utilize their innate healing resources to address a wide range of psychological, psychophysiological and interpersonal challenges.
